YWHP is a well-established, Sheffield based, charity providing trauma informed safe, supported housing, therapeutic programmes and counselling for young women and their children who have been affected by sexual abuse, domestic abuse and sexual exploitation.
We are particularly keen to recruit trustees from Black and Asian communities, those who have “lived experience” of homelessness and mental health issues and those from other minoritised communities.
We are currently, looking to recruit to the role of Treasurer and would be particularly interested in hearing from you if this is an area of interest for you.
Commitment Required:
Hours: minimum quarterly meetings (2 hours) at a town centre location + quarterly sub committee meetings for specific roles such as Treasurer or Chair.
Other: occasional extraordinary meetings as required and as agreed specific pieces of work
Agreement: 12 months +
